College and Basketball

September 10th, 2008 by admin

A  lot of parents do not like when their teenagers are spending more time while playing basketball with the older boys than doing their lessons. They always say to the teenagers who are fond of basketball that because of the basketball they will fail to be enrolled into the higher educational intuition. Some of the parents even prohibit their children to play basketball. However, such parents are not right at all. Instead of being pleased that their children at least spend their time on sport training and not on alcohol or dugs using, they  are trying to prevent their children from the basketball playing.

Dear parents, have not it ever crossed your mind that the chances to be enrolled into the prestige educational institution and to receive there education free of charge of your basketball playing son are extremely increased? No, then think about that when the next time you will not let your son to play basketball.

Basketball skills are considered to be the shortest way to get the educational scholarship which will present the opportunity to your son to receive the education free. That is why while prohibiting him to play basketball, you reduce his chances to earn the higher educational degree.
