Basketball form the Beginning till Now

James Naismith was the pioneer who established the game of basketball among students and colleges. He was a coach of the students from the University of Kansas in the duration of six years; after that he renewed his career of coach Forest “Phogg” Allen.
The students of Naismith were developing basketball in the other universities; for example, Amos Alonzo Stagg was a funder of basketball in the University of Chicago, while Adolph Rupp was coaching the students to play basketball at the University of Kentucky.
Before 1982, only men were playing the game, however, in 1893 the first game between women was taking place between University of California and Miss Head’s School. And only in 1984 women were included into the competition as well as men. As a result, 1926, the first women national women’s basketball championship was held.
In 2003-2004, 1,002,797 participants were taking part in the competitions are presented their colleges, among this figure not only bys, but also girls are comprised.
Basketball is one of the most famous and favorite games in the world, it is played by the students with great pleasure. Hundreds of fans are gathered when the game of their favorite team is taking place.
